TYPE OF EVENTS
GLOBAL GAME JAM
The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. IGDA PH MNL encourages aspiring and veteran game developers to participate in the international event.
January 25-27, 2019
ESPORTS AND GAMING SUMMIT
ESports and Gaming Summit is one of the largest gaming conventions in Southeast Asia, organized by Gariath Concepts. It attracts close up to 24,000 game developers, players, enthusiasts, and industry players all in a 4 day event. IGDA Philippines Manila Chapter participates as an exhibitor allowing game developers free use of the space yearly.

MONTHLY MEET UPS
All throughout the year, IGDA PH MNL strives to provide the local game community a safe space to encourage conversations and talks about all aspects of game development, from programming, art, design, narrative, women in games, publisher-developer relations.

GAMEDEVDRINKUP
To encourage building relationships among local developers, IGDA PH MNL hosts a GDDU site which alternates every month to ensure that game developers from both areas of Metro Manila are accommodated.

WORKSHOPS
Schools and events, whether or not they have IGDA members, can request assistance in finding speakers based on the needs of their event. Occasionally, international speakers would visit and a separate workshop will be arranged independent of the other events IGDA PH MNL organizes.
